JUSTIN'S COMMENTS
Well, where has the time gone? It's been over a year since Round 6 and after all the editing I had to do just to get it uploaded here, I was kind of annoyed with this whole thing and just didn't feel like doing it much anymore. Add in that the last year hasn't been that much of an enjoyable one, and I lost most of my motivation.
But here we are and I finally got around to finishing Round 7. I really like how this one came out, considering how much I rushed it just to get it done. A couple of good jokes here and there and I think I found my full-time end credits theme for all AMV TKO's from now on... it just works with the whole videogame theme I think having that synthesizer sound to it.
Also, with this round, I have now made over 100 short clips for AMV TKO. If you would have told me I would make that many a few years ago when I started this...
As for the videos themselves... The Princess Tutu clip came out MUCH different than I originally planned. It was supposed to be much funnier, with Duck's friends singing the lyrics, but then it ended up being much more artsy in the end. Probably not in the style AMV TKO is intended to be, but I love how it turned out, if only because it's one of the clips I put the most work into in the entire series.
But my favorite is probably the PoKeMoN "OH..." clip. No matter how many times I watch it, it makes me giggle. Also got to continue the Olly Williams running gag, but I'm starting to run out of audio clips to use. Come on, Seth McFarlane! Give me some more Olly! Also, I was rather pleased with how both versions of the whole "ONE" thing worked out, especially the live action part after the credits.
All in all, one of my better rounds in my opinion. Here's hoping for a Round 8 somewhere in the future.
