JUSTIN'S COMMENTS
I dedicated this round to George Carlin who passed away earlier this year because I grew up listening to him and he's one of the reasons I have the sense of humor that I pride myself in having. He was a legend and always will be in my opinion.
As for the round itself, it may be my best work yet, although I'm beginning to wonder if I should keep the "M" in AMV because there seemed to be so little music in this one. But either way, I think everything turned out rather well on this one. Among my favorites include "Dip", "The Truth Hurts" and definitely "Dead Zone". "The Glowing" probably goes beyond those, though. I was surprised how well that one turned out consdiering how little source material I had to work with. And I was glad to be able to continue the Ollie Wiliams running gag with "Eye In The Sky". I just have to hope that Seth MacFarlane decides to keep doing Ollie skits on Family Guy so I can keep that going even farther.
I admit that the whole "Ritsuko Akagi... the truth is... (insert joke line here)" isn't my joke, but I really had to do that clip. At least it was a joke that hadn't been done yet. To see it's inspiration, click here.
