As you know by the name of this site, my name is Justin Aaron. I'm a rather down to earth and shy person who doesn't open up that easily to others, but once I get to know you, I can be a lot more fun. I'm the kind of guy who likes to live outside the norm, never really getting interested in things that have huge followings or people obsess over. I never like to get worked up over anything either. I'm "straight-edge", meaning I don't smoke or drink. I'm also not a very religious person, but I don't totally refuse to believe that there may be more to life than what you see in front of your face. But as I always say, "You can believe in (or not believe in) whatever you want, just leave me the hell out of it."
My interests may be considered juvenile or immature to some, but after everything that's happened in my life over the past five years or so, including the loss of my mother, I've found my interests to be the few things (along with friends or family) that keep me happy. Anything to get by, as they say.
Speaking of my mother, I endlessly thank her for giving me so much, including a strong will, great sense of humor and the ability to look at the things from more than one perspective. I've been able to survive on my own for this long because of all the great things she taught me and did for me and I could never thank her enough for that.
I've been a "gamer" since I was an infant, going all the way back to the Collecovision and Atari, all the way up the the XBox 360 and Wii today. I love all types of games, from sports games to RPG games (as long as they don't have a turn-style battle system) and I'll probably be playing them for the rest of my life.
I began as a fan of Japanese anime like how many others did, by watching syndicated anime dubbed in english like Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and even Voltron (even though I didn't know Voltron was an anime when I first watched it as a kid). I've been an avid fan for almost fifteen years now and have amassed quite the collection of DVDs, books and merchandise. So much so I wonder how much money I'd have saved if I hadn't started being a fan. But I'm sure I would have wasted it on something else.
I enjoy excercising and working out to stay in shape. Although having a nice body is part of the intention, it's more of a health issue for me and I try to do everything I can to stay in good health (not always a success, ha ha...).
Well, that's all I can think about to type about myself at the moment, but if I think of anything else, I'll put it here.
